A special night featuring LESSNOISE and MUNIR AMASTHA

Saturday May 24

CUE CLUB at Lava Lounge is a new twist on an old classic showcasing cutting edge underground electronic music every weekend located in the lower level of Lava lounge in Midtown Atlanta.

This week EDM label REVOLT RECORDS invades Cue Club once again, this time with a very special guest LESSNOISE and Revolt's own founder MUNIR AMASTHA.

Music released under Revolt Records:

LESSNOISE (Baroque Records)

No doubt born for the love of music, Lessnoise (Fher Rivera) has taken a very strict, thin line of delicious, dirty sounds and combined them with an extraordinary fusion of Dub, Breaks, Tech House, Deep House, and Techno, among other sensual ingredients, to create mixes so full of life and energy as to be instantly identifiable.

After 20 years of musical trajectory, Fher has been involved with many projects since he owned his first guitar at the age of 10. Fher played bass guitar with a local rock band when he was 13, and joined a new age orchestra when he was 15. In 1998, at the age of 18, he traded in his drum kit and guitars for his first pair of turntables and turned to the electronic music scene. Soon after he became an icon inside the local electronic scene and later headlined important events in Central and North America, including his own radio show from one of the most important radio stations in New York City, Downshift Radio. Broadcasting worldwide, Downshift has gained thousands of listeners around the globe as well as the respect from the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Dave Seaman, Chris Fortier, Infected Mushroom and James Zabiela, to name a few.

In the past 15 years Lessnoise’s personal and collaborative performances have shined with intense sets that have left partygoers longing for more. Stimulating all the senses and inspiring an atmosphere of sensual energy, his music and his vibe have set the mood at many events, sharing the stage with diverse projects and DJs like Steve Lawler, Satoshi Tomiie, Christopher Lawrence, Nick Warren, Hector Romero, Ralph Falcon, Nigel Richards, Scott Hardkiss, Infusion, Anthony Pappa, Nortec Collective, Astro&Glyde, Sean Cusick, Steve Porter and many more.

For Munir music is more than a passion, a way of making a living or even an obsession. For him is a way of life, the way of expression that keeps his mind alive. That is the main reason he's range and diversity in music is extensive.

As a DJ he has held residencies playing some of the most awkward music, which opened him on to a broad spectrum of mixing possibilities. He's an effect junkie with DJ gear and takes a lot of risk with his mixing in order to use his creativity to the maximum potential and generate originality every time he plays out.

As a producer and musician he has worked on a vast range of styles as well. Anything from chill out to metal. From an early age he has played guitar and that has translated as one of the main ways he makes music today. He is presently working on a debut album with M.O.M, which is a band he started, that combine styles such as rock, alternative and chill out with electronic elements. Munir has multiple releases under different labels worldwide and has received the support from well known artists and the respect from the local EDM scene.

He currently lives in Atlanta, and founded an electronic music record label called Revolt. Which evolved from an event company called Volt that held some of the biggest and most memorable underground EDM warehouse parties and after-hours in the city of Atlanta. He has played in all the major clubs of the city and in festivals all over the south east of the U.S
